Steelwork Plater-Welders needed. Excellent full time PAYE vacancies based in Derby. Very competitive hourly rates and plenty of hours available (50hours p/w basic +optional OT).Our client is a successful and busy engineering company based in Derby, they manufacture heavy structural steel (columns, floor beams, rafters etc) and due to planned expansion they now seek additional Plater-Welders to join their fabrication team on a permanent PAYE basis.Plater-Welder duties:-Read and work to CAD produced fabrication drawings.-Position and weld up any plates/cleats etc as indicated on the drawings. A world leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery, at a state of the art facility based in Leicester is seeking a number of Welder Fabricators (MIG / TIG) to join its expanding team. This role is temporary with the possibility of it becoming permanent. As the Welder Fabricator, your duties will be to: Complete the welding process of all metal to required standards.Read and understand engineering drawings accurately.Other production duties as and when required.Handle machines and tools properly at all times.Liaise and coordinate relevant information with regards to quality issues. To be a successful Welder Fabricator you will have the following skills and experience: Available immediately and able to work on a temporary - permanent contract.Experienced MIG / TIG Welder or Fabricator.Prepared to contribute with overtime needs as the business dictates.An understanding of engineering drawings. You will undergo a weld test. This role will be working Monday to Friday with overtime available. LOCATION:  Daventry, Northamptonshire JOB TITLE:  Skilled Welder / Fabricators SALARY & BENEFITS: This is a permanent role with an attractive hourly rate depending on experience. Basic hours are 40hours/week with 23 days holiday. Agreed short to medium term contracts may also be available subject to status. Overtime currently available. THE COMPANY: Our client is an established supplier of motorsport and prototype parts to the specialist automotive industry, and have been trading from their Daventry premises for over 33 years.   THE ROLE AND CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WELDER/ FABRICATORS POSITION:   Our client is looking for skilled Welder/Fabricators to join their team making bespoke and low volume exhausts and other tubular metal parts in stainless steel, Inconel and titanium. Suitable candidates must have served an apprenticeship in sheet metal and welding and have experience in working to tight tolerances and short lead times. You must be used to working with lightweight, thin gauge metals and have excellent TIG welding skills.   Attention to detail and a professional passion for utmost quality are prerequisites for success in this role.
