Through the safe and accurate delivery of high volume, low-cost services, it has been possible to build a reputation for excellence across the utility sector.As the Meter Field Supervisor, your duties will be to:
Manage on-going day-to- day activities within the team by providing assistance, technical support, guidance and advice or taking appropriate action to effectively resolve customer issues and escalations to ensure customer service levels are kept to a maximum.Handle customer and internal customer escalations effectively and take ownership for resolving problems by prioritising workloads and seeking continual improvements.Provide measures for forecasting plans in order to identify resource requirements and be accountable for the recruitment, induction, training and development of these individuals.Ensure that service levels are maintained and impacts are managed effectively when making team decisions making sure that the team’s performance contributes to ensuring that KPI targets are met.Implement and maintain departmental processes to meet customer demands and to improve the quality of service provided.Ensure that team members are fully briefed on new information within agreed time scales.Monitor and Control the personal absence and sickness record.Manage All H&S requirements as per legislation and ensure quality and H&S field audits are regularly completed. Investigate and report all accidents & incidents.
To be a successful Meter Field Supervisor you will have the following skills and experience:
Experience working within a customer services environment, with a supervisory emphasis gained in a customer-facing role together with a proven track record of coaching, training and developing othersCommunication, Influencing and negotiating skills.People and process management skills.Excellent oral and written skills.Awareness / experience of managing Health and Safety issues for field-based employees. This is a critical part of the role but training will be provided.Sound presentation and delivery skills.Full UK driving licence is essential.
In return, the Meter Field Supervisor will receive a salary of £25,000 per annum plus a company van.
