Service and Maintenance Engineers PositionXXXX are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join their busy Service and maintenance team m in the Oxford area. Due to the acquisition of new service contracts in this area, we are looking to grow our engineering team.The Role• This is a mobile role, which involves travelling around the Oxford, Outer London and Home Counties, visiting sites to maintain and service refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.• Working as a field service engineer attending callouts, on commercial, industrial and domestic clients.• Diagnosing, fault finding, problem solving on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in commercial, industrial, and domestic sites.• Liaising with the service office to order parts and equipment, required to carry out a permanent repair.• Engineers are required to cover an out of hours on-call service rota, currently (1week in 7). Overtime / out of hours work is paid.Candidate Requirements• A solid working knowledge as a mobile refrigeration and air conditioning service engineer on commercial, industrial and domestic sites, having the ability to translate technical literature. • The ability to work independently or as a part of a team.• Must be able to demonstrate experience of working with Refrigeration, AHU’s, Split systems, VRV, VRF and Chillers.• NVQ Level 2 qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning or equivalent.• Holding a City & Guilds 2079 Level 1 Refrigerant Handling certificate.• Be able to show excellent organisation, communication and prioritisation skills, whilst showing outstanding customer skills.• The candidate ideally would be based within 20miles of Oxford and have a full and valid UK driving licence.Standard hours are 40 hours per week with the requirement to cover out of hours call outs on rota basis. Additional income can be earned with scheduled work at weekends. The engineer will receive 4 weeks holiday, company expensed van, mobile phone, company pension.
Steelwork Plater-Welders needed. Excellent full time PAYE vacancies based in Portsmouth.Please note: This is a permanent "late shift" and working hours are 4pm-12.30am.It is due to a contintued increase in workload that we seek addtional Plater-Welders to join the existing fabrication team. Work will typically be plating and welding a range of structural steel (columns, floor beams, rafters, bracing etc).Plater-Welder duties:-Read and work to CAD produced fabrication drawings.-Position and weld up any plates/cleats etc as indicated on the drawings.
