Due to growth, they now have an excellent opportunity for an Electrically Bias Multi Skilled Shift Engineer to join their team in Scarborough. The Role: Our client is seeking an Electrically Bias Multi Skilled Shift Engineer to join their team in Scarborough to work reactively within the plant on any technical issues or faults that may occur and ensure that any machinery or tools are repaired to a high standard, meeting all Health and Safety requirements. You will also be involved in continuous improvement projects, working closely with your colleagues to ensure that output, quality, efficiency, energy and waste are always improving and, overall ensuring that the plant runs as effectively as possible. Key Roles & Responsibilities:• Dealing with machinery breakdowns and repairing to a high standard • Working on continuous improvement projects to ensure the plant runs as efficiently as possible• General ongoing maintenance of machinery • Increasing productivity• Ensuring that the Health & Safety of all employees is maintained• Ensuring that food safety standards are met at all times The Candidate: To be considered for the opportunity of Electrically Bias Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, you will have previous Engineering experience, preferably within the Food or FMCG market, although this isn't essential. You will have undertaken a recognised apprenticeship in Engineering and have a good level of basic education and computer literacy.
