Our client is looking to recruit an Engineering Project Manager to their expanding team in Croydon. JOB PURPOSE: To effectively manage projects from inception to delivery of specialist industrial equipment from initial design to completion. Main roles & responsibilities *Accept projects from the Ops Manager to fully ascertain client requirements & time scales including defect liability plan (dlp) & maintenance plans. *Liaise with client representatives & schedule the design of the project. *Produce & publish detailed project plan to include project & payment milestones *Report on deviation from project and payment milestones and project costs to Operations Manager. *Prepare and submit documentation for preliminary design review in line with approved format. To include project drawings, equipment specification and interface requirements. *Liaison with client to agree amendments to preliminary design & submit documentation for final design review in line with approved format. *Arrange Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of equipment under the terms of the contract. *In consultation with manufacturer, approve modifications & lead time *Resource labour for installation of equipment. *Supply customer with installation work package plan including risk assessments and H&S plans. *Monitor progress & installation costs in line with detailed project plan *Preparation of Post Installation Check Out (PICO) & Site Acceptance Test (SAT) or Inspection & Test Procedure (ITP) documentation for issue to the customer. *Arrange with the Installation Supervisor and Customer for final commissioning and testing of equipment. *Preparation of training documentation to be carried out by the Installation Supervisor. *Prepare handover documentation to the Service Department for all UK based installations. *To adhere to all health and safety and ISO procedures as outlined in the Company's procedures.
