A well-established office furniture manufacturer operating within a 28,000 square foot premises located in Upper Clatford, Andover is seeking a Production Operative to join its expanding team.  Full training will be given on the use of all required tools and machinery.  You will enjoy free on-site parking, bonus scheme and a relaxed dress code.The company designs and manufactures office pods, booths and screens with bespoke, sleek and modern designs.  All products adhere to all relevant British Standards and European Directives and have been tested by FIRA.  The company is also certified to PEFC.As the Production Operative, you will be responsible for: Assisting in the manufacture of office pods, booths and screens.This will be across one of more of the production departments which include the wood shop, assembly, covering, bespoke manufacturing and quality assurance.Some departments require the use of hand tools and heavy machinery such as pillar drills, chopsaws and milling machines for which full training will be given. To be a successful Production Operative you will have the following skills and experience: Previous manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential. In return, the Production Operative will receive a pay rate of £7.50 - £8.00 per hour dependant on experience. The first stage of the application process is to apply online.
