As the TFM Support Manager, your duties will be to:
Liaise with the client to provide a one-point contact for advice, regarding technical service issues, ensuring contractual obligations and client requirements are met and understood and the company reputation enhanced.Foster an environment of continuous improvement to maximise customer satisfaction.Develop and support a positive team ethos with the contract team and the subcontracting team on the TFM contract.Manage meetings as required.Advise the Regional Manager to keep the risk register up to the date with all known risks.Operate as the subject matter expert in relation to building fabric, and the delivery of M&E maintenance activities.Keep abreast of all site critical systems, understand the operational requirements, maintenance requirements and capacity limitations of the systems.Work with the maintenance subcontractor, resident and mobile engineers, to ensure delivery of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment, which may include the following: mechanical (including HVAC, computer room air conditioners, chillers, and plumbing) electrical (including UPS, DC battery systems, PDU, generators, transfer switches, and switchgear), fire detection and suppression, life safety, lighting, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).Where required, to support preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems and building the physical structure.Support the Operations Team to manage the response to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns.Continually review service areas to ensure high standards and costs are achieved to drive though efficiencies and improved practices in line with the Business Improvement Model.Deputise for the Business Support Manager and Performance Support Manager in his/her absence.Undertake hands on duties as and when required to achieve team goals.Attend Subcontractor review meetings as directed by the Regional Manager.Respond to Customer queries and technical audit reports as directed by the Regional Manager.

Although experience in aerospace / defence is preferable, applications are also invited from candidates with appropriate experience in the automotive sector or other relevant precision machining environment. You will be required to prepare accurate cost estimates for the manufacture of complex machined components for the aerospace and IGT industries to support successful bids for new and existing programmes.As the Manufacturing Engineer / Cost Estimator your duties will include:
Preparation of detailed cost estimates for the manufacture of machined products to support the acquisition of new business and commercial activities on existing business.Identification of all raw material and bought-out requirements from detail drawings, to allow the Supply Chain function to obtain quotations for the price and lead time.Preparation of robust and efficient methods of manufacture as a basis for completing cost estimates. Must be an experienced Estimator / Engineer with a strong CNC machining background and be fully conversant with modern manufacturing techniques.Completion of accurate cost estimates to required timescales.Experience of machining large precision turned and prismatic components in aerospace materials.Would preferably have knowledge of CAD-CAM systems with Solid Works and Catia being a distinct advantage.Must have strong time management skills with the ability to deliver multiple requirements concurrently to demanding timescales.Experience in an aerospace / automotive or relevant precision machining environment.Minimum HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
