A market leading distributor of products to manufacturing clients within the automotive, medical and construction industries is seeking a Material Inspector based in Stevenage to join its expanding team. This role is based in a clean and bright warehouse environment, where you will be working in a close-knit team. Once products have been ordered from suppliers around the world, they will then arrive in the goods in department, and it is at this point, the role of the Material Inspector begins.
As the Material Inspector, your duties will include:
• Booking in new deliveries.• Carrying out random quality checks of products received.• Checking that the products are not counterfeit or faulty.• Reporting any problems or concerns to the Team Leaders.• Re-packing of products once inspected, ready for despatch.
To be a successful Material Inspector you will have the following skills and experience:
• Ability to work to set guidelines.• A great attention to detail.• Computer literate• Good communication skills with the ability to work within a team.• General admin and customer service skills.
You will be working Monday to Friday ranging from 7am to 4.30pm, 37.5 hours per week.
In return, the Material Inspector will receive a salary of £9.75 - £10 per hour.
