There may be a requirement at some point of the employment to work at another one of our other brickworks in Sussex, Leicester, or Romsey. As the Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:  Fault finding in electrical systems- (and some mechanical systems when required to).Fault finding in Siemens S7 controls.Working to PPM schedules.Recording work, faults, breakdowns within the engineering system.Quick response to breakdowns.New installations and modifications to existing equipment.Assisting the mechanical maintenance with mechanical repairs as the need arises.  To be a successful Maintenance Engineer you will have the following skills and experience: A knowledge of working with and fault finding on PLC control systems will be an advantage (preferably Siemens S7).Have suitable qualifications such as C&G or HNC or HND, 16th or 17th Edition.Installation experience.Previously worked in a similar background.Knowledge of working with 3 phase systems.  The first 4-6 weeks of employment will be working a 39 hour week working either morning, days, afternoons, or night shift to gain experience in the plant and to work alongside our current engineers). This includes shift allowance and a basic weekly bonus. Pay rises to £32,400 dependent upon weekly bonus amount after successful completion of a 6month probationary period.
