An award winning consultancy specialising in the provision of technical services to the London residential building sector now seeks to add an experienced M&E Project Manager with Mechanical Bias. As Project Manager, you will be working on site, being responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time & to budget. Projects are generally separate to usual day-to-day activities within the business and will require a group of colleagues to work together in order to achieve specific objectives. The Project Manager will oversee the project to ensure the desired results are achieved and the most efficient resources are utilised. THE ROLEA great opportunity for a PRINCIPAL / ASSOCIATE CIVIL ENGINEER with experience of INFRASTRUCTURE MASTER PLANNING to join my client in their new WEST LONDON office.Experience of flood risk, highways and sewerage essential for pre purchase feasibility studies, liaison with Environment Agency, Local lead Flood Authorities, Regional Highway and Sewerage authorities etc.Manage a team of graduates, project engineers and also own workload.You will be the most senior person in this new office so will take responsibility for hiring staff, dealing with clients, running the office etc.THE COMPANYOur client is a successful firm of consulting engineers working on civil engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transport engineering etc.They offer excellent ongoing training and CPD.THE CANDIDATEYou will need to have a Degree in Civil Engineering or an HNC or HND with a number of years relevant experience. Ideally you will be Chartered or Incorporated.You will undertake pre-purchase feasibility studies and resolution of planning conditions including drainage feasibility and highways considerations. Knowledge of design and implication of flood risk assessments and SUD's techniques advantageous.You will exercise due care and diligence in all aspects of engineering design and detailing.You will attend meetings with clients, external agencies e.g. Environment Agency, Regional Highways Authorities and Sewerage authorities etc.Experience of AutoCAD / Autodesk Civil 3D preferred or similar.You should have working experience of FRAs Suds and Pre Planning Advice.You will have working experience of drainage and highway design and detailing to S38, S278 and S104 agreements.You will have working experience of MicroDrainage WinDES, Tuflow, HECRAS etc.You will be highly career minded and have strong management experience.Salary is very negotiable according to your experience from £50000 to £65000 plus pension, health insurance, life insurance ++.Please email your c.v. via this website or give me, Nigel Hutchings a call on 020 7613 5555 for a confidential discussion.Please note that we do not send out your c.v. until after we have spoken to you about your requirements for a new position, your experience and about the client.
