LOCATION: Byley, near Crewe   JOB TITLE: Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician   SALARY & BENEFITS: £36,000 - £43,000 dependant on skills and experience + private health insurance and competitive pension   WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday 8am - 4pm   THE COMPANY: Based in Cheshire, the company operates a top tier COMAH facility for the safe storage and distribution of natural gas. Gas stored in salt caverns is processed using high pressure above ground plant and equipment to provide essential supplies to the UK gas infrastructure. They are currently seeing an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician to join the Engineering & Maintenance team. The company is committed to equal opportunities and actively promotes diversity, equality and flexibility.   THE ROLE: As an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician you will be delivering the asset maintenance and operational performance by effective delivery of routine, preventative and reactive maintenance on control, instrumentation and electrical plant and apparatus in a safe, compliant and sustainable manner.   Key Responsibilities for the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician role to include:-                       To plan and deliver the outage and routine maintenance activities requiredSupport the Lead Electrical and Lead Control & Instrumentation Engineers in the delivery of the maintenance strategy for control and instrumentation equipment and electrical plant & apparatusDevelop and generate safety documentation such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Work InstructionsCarry out fault finding investigations for any maintenance, overhaul and defect incidents or faults on all items of plant and equipmentDeal with technically demanding tasks, on plant and equipment requiring minimal direction and technical supervision   THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be hands on and a self starter who can work well as a team and on your own. You will have an extensive understanding of Health and Safety and environmental legislation. Ideally you will have  experience using SAP PM, however this is not essential.   Key experience essential for the role of the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician:-                        An Engineering HNC / HND level qualificationKnowledge, skills and experience in management of E,C&I Assets on a high hazard siteProven track record of fault finding, overhaul and defect repair on all types of electromechanical equipment and instrumentationAn understanding of the health, safety & environmental aspects of the managements of external service providers activitiesLive within a commutable distance to Byley, near Crewe     Does this sound like you?
