The successful Electronics Stock Controller with be a methodical and organised individual who can help our client in streamlining and automating the manufacturing of their radio broadcasting equipment. The successful Electronics Stock Controller will have worked in a similar role that includes stock control / management for a minimum of 3 years, and are fully competent in IT / Excel.
This key role within our client's business ensures that their in-house and overseas Production teams have the right components, in the right quantities, at the right times.
Daily, you will be responsible for:
Organising and accurately storing components received from suppliers.
Conducting regular stock level checks.
Supplying all the components required by the Production teams (in-house and overseas).
Ensuring that the Production Teams have the right components to meet their deadlines.
Supporting product design and product repair teams with their component needs.
Holiday staff cover for logistics staff, including goods inward - despatch of goods.
The essential skills required:
Experience with electronic components, including package types (SOIC8, SOT23, PDIP16, etc).
Experience using stock management software (we use Sage 200, so experience using Sage would be ideal).
Experience in inventory management / goods inward and dispatch functions.
A good working knowledge of inventory control / management systems.
Analytical and problem solving skills, and IT literate.
Possess the ability to work productively, effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
