It offers a number of different flavour profiles, including natural smoke and flavoured cures as well as cook levels (light, medium, dark and very dark). It has also developed a range of pasteurised bacon which performs exceptionally as a pizza topping and as a ready meal ingredient.
As the Production Operative, your duties will be to:
• Manufacture food products in accordance with food safety HACCP and hygiene requirements, quality and Quality Management System standards within a safe working environment.• Carry out processes within the factory operation to agreed standards in relation to customer, Company, legal, HACCP and food safety requirements within a safe working environment.• Report immediately any contravention of hygiene or health and safety issues to a direct Team leader / manager.• Maintain a clean environment and have a strict level of personal hygiene standards.• Monitor and update stock levels on warehouse computer and keep strict traceability records on production.• The measure, grade and feed batches of raw materials into machinery and operating line equipment.• Pack goods ready for shipment.
To be a successful Production Operative you will have the following skills and experience:
• Experience within a food manufacturing ideally but not essential.• Ability to communicate at different levels confidently.• Good level of English (both written and spoken) and Maths.• Good attention to detail and can spot problems.• Practical skills to operate machinery.
You will be working 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00, Monday to Friday.
