To be a successful Electrical Contracts Manager you will have the following skills and experience:
• Possession of HNC / HND in a relevant discipline or experience.• Significant experience working within building services (electrical bias), facilities management, maintenance, industrial or similar environment.• Good communication and a positive attitude.• Excellent knowledge of EHS regulations.• A passion for upholding high customer service levels.
In return, the Electrical Contracts Manager will receive a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (experience dependant).

Procurement Manager General Description / Purpose of Role: This role involves responsibility for the all of ELG’s carbon fibre procurement activities. This includes purchasing and contract management of raw materials, including carbon fibre containing wastes (feedstock), equipment and services. This is a global function, with responsibility for sourcing for ELG’s UK plant from overseas suppliers as well as sourcing for ELG’s planned new facilities in North America and Central Europe. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Defining and implementing appropriate procurement processes and sourcing strategies for the entire supply chain;Managing the global feedstock procurement to ensure feedstock contracts are aligned to sales targets and growth;Delivering savings and added value through effective sourcing and procurement activities;Control of the purchasing budget in order to achieve target budget profitability;Managing full sourcing process from initial RFQs through to full tenders and negotiation of supply contracts for goods and services;Thorough analysis of stakeholder requirements and market providers;Identifying and evaluating new suppliers;Managing supplier performance and acting as the point of escalation for purchasing issues;Liaison with appropriate internal and external stakeholders;To participate in cross function and department team work in order to achieve the business plan for profit growth, people and quality improvement;To maintain up to date market knowledge and brief the Management Team accordingly – communicating procurement strategy and market trends;Working with suppliers to ensure cost down initiatives through process improvements.
Occasional travel may be required. Minimum Education Qualifications:
Educated to degree level preferred.
Minimum Previous Experience:
Proven track record in a Procurement role – demonstrating cradle to grave process;Strategic purchasing experience gained within an Engineering/Manufacturing industry;Demonstrable strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to manage supply contracts;Experience of managing an international supply chain is preferred.
Minimum Additional Training:
Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent qualification essential. MCIPS preferred.
Minimum Required Skills:
Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen;Previous experience drafting contracts and agreeing commercial terms with suppliers for complex supply contracts (goods and services);Strong financial awareness;Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well with colleagues and external contractors/suppliers;Ability to demonstrate forward thinking, planning and organizational skills;Effective planning and organizational skills;Excellent verbal and written communication skills—ability to communicate confidently at all levels and build rapport with stakeholders;A ‘can do’ attitude and ‘hands-on’ approach;Fully computer literate.
