An award winning consultancy specialising in the provision of technical services to the London residential building sector now seeks to add an experienced M&E Project Manager with Mechanical Bias. As Project Manager, you will be working on site, being responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time & to budget. Projects are generally separate to usual day-to-day activities within the business and will require a group of colleagues to work together in order to achieve specific objectives. The Project Manager will oversee the project to ensure the desired results are achieved and the most efficient resources are utilised. Duties of the Project Manager will include, but not be limited to:·         Agreeing project objectives·         Providing advice on the management of projects·         Organising the various professional people working on the project·         Carrying out risk assessments and method statements·         Making sure that all the aims of the project and programmes are met·         Making sure the quality standards are achieved·         Using IT systems and site sign in system to keep track of people and progress·         Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors·         Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained·         Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing·         Attending progress and programme meetings·         Liaising with the client as required·         Develop and issue programmes as required using Microsoft Project·         Identify and capture variations to the main contract·         Ensure colleagues undertake their roles efficiently·         Issue Technical Submittals in co-operation with the Technical Team·         Manage visiting or site based Quantity Surveyor·         Prepare and present monthly reviews with Directors·         Procure on site labour as required·         Liaise with the Buying Department on ordering materials To be considered for the role of Project Manager, you are required to hold at least a HNC in a Building Services related subject, along CSCS Black Managers Card and an SMSTS Health & Safety Certification as a minimum. You will have good mechanical installation knowledge and experience on new build residential high rise projects, including Energy Centres. We make no secret of our global expansion plans which include the launch of additional overseas facilities and with this in mind, we are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our committed team. Process EngineerGeneral Description / Purpose of Role:This role involves responsibility for the development and optimization of manufacturing processes within ELG CF, for the purposes of reducing cost, improving throughput and reducing variability. This will include optimizing processes on current manufacturing equipment; investigation of potential modifications to current equipment to provide improved performance in the areas mentioned; and investigation of new equipment and processes that may be required as ELG CF expands. The role will work closely with the Product Development Engineers and Production Manager. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Investigation and optimization of processing parameters for each of the manufacturing processes within ELG CF, with respect to maximizing throughput, minimizing cost and reducing variability;Technical input on all process related capital projects;Project management of selected process related capital projects;Input into continuous improvement initiatives within ELGCF—waste reduction, cost reduction, productivity improvement, variation reduction—after baseline parameters have been established;Leading Six Sigma activities within ELGCF;Serving as the lead technical person for process safety / process hazard assessmentsInvestigating and advising on new equipment and processes to support ELGCF expansion;  Occasional travel may be required. Minimum Education Qualifications: Degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar subject. Minimum Previous Experience: Knowledge and experience in the areas of process safety, including process hazard assessment / process safety assessment;Demonstrable experiences of commissioning new process plant;Experience of capital projects management.  Minimum Additional Training: Six Sigma black belt certification is preferred;  Minimum Required Skills: Strong business acumen—able to relate process improvements and investments in new equipment to the financial performance of the business;Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well with colleagues and external contractors/suppliers;Excellent project planning and execution skills—demonstrated ability to deliver complicated projects and tasks on time;Autonomous, rigorous and methodical approach;Excellent team working skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills—ability to provide clear and concise reports as required;Good organizational skills;Fully computer literate.    Use No Risk Recruitment for all your recruitment needs and save 1000's on fees!
