These customers include multinational Blue Chip Companies and they enjoy Approved Contractor status with many Local Authorities The main responsibilities for this role - Lift Engineer ( Servicing / Breakdowns / Repairs , Recognized Lift Engineering Apprenticeship ) Carry out routine checks on gears, motors, overload detection devices, brakes, doors and locks Make minor repairs or isolating problems until a service can be carried out Respond to emergency breakdown call-outs Install and fit out lifts, lifting gear and lift wells Demonstrate new equipment to clients Refurbish or replace lift interiors, flooring, panel displays, communication systems, buttons and lighting Update written and computerised work records Analyse breakdown trends to identify recurring defects in equipment. Part of your work would be to inspect lift equipment to make sure that it meets relevant health and safety regulations. You would also produce risk assessment reports and documentation for insurance and legal purposes. You would need colour-normal vision for this type of work. You will have the opportunity to develop your manufacturing scheduling / planning career within a world class environment and join a genuine leader in its field.  Normal working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.15pm, Friday 8.00am - 3pm.   This company has a very stable order book now confirmed well into 2019 and beyond.  This is an excellent role with challenging aspects to it and will see you interacting across all business units with focus on the internal manufacturing, logistics, and sales Teams. There will also be an equally important focus on customer interaction and demand with a view to balancing client requirements with company revenue targets against manufacturing capacity restraints and reporting back to management. All of this will be against a backdrop of working within an engineering sector that is highly interesting, high-profile, buoyant, and exceptionally busy.  As the Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for: Completing all contract reviews; balancing meeting customer requirements and company revenue requirements with capacity constraints.Meeting with clients regularly and keeping management appraised of medium to long term customer demand.Creating and maintaining a 12 week rolling manufacturing plan to support product and development.5-Quarter forecasting and preparing P&L packs.Reviewing and managing raw material plans, to meet customer committed deliveries and company objectives (inventory, revenue and PPV).Making recommendations to management about load / capacity requirements as part of forward planning process.  The successful Master Scheduler will have the following skills and experience: Master scheduling or planning experience within a manufacturing setting.Superb knowledge of Excel along with strong IT skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the interpersonal ability to interact at all levels of the business and externally with clients.Be organised, numerically strong with confirmed ability in data analysis with a view to recommending areas of improvements.Degree level qualified with strong attention to detail.  In return, you will receive a starting salary of £40,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
