A well-established fleet management company who are market leaders in transportation vehicles for high profile contracts / company’s is seeking LGV Fitters based in Merseyside to join its expanding team to be responsible for the maintenance, repair and testing of vehicles to ensure that they adhere to strict standards and specifications.This Fitter role will be working on a rotating 4 on 4 off day shift pattern working 7am-7pm, with the availability of optional overtime.As the LGV Fitter, your duties will be to: Maintain, inspect, repair and test the company’s vehicles to the high standards required.Carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with policies and procedures.Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles, replacing parts as and when necessary.Carry out periodic safety inspections to all vehicles.Prepare and present all LGV vehicles, other than exempt categories, for annual MOT inspections.Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standardEnsure that all relevant legislation and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.  To be a successful LGV Fitter you will have the following skills and experience:  Must be a fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician with experience working on LGVs.Ideally have knowledge / experience with pneumatic, hydraulic systems / general fabrication/automotive electricals.Attended and passed a VOSA inspection course would be advantageous.Must be able to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines.Must be an excellent team player.  In return, the Fitter will receive a salary of £13.74 per hour plus overtime.The first stage of the application process is to apply online. An award winning consultancy specialising in the provision of technical services to the London residential building sector now seeks to add an experienced M&E Project Manager with Mechanical Bias. As Project Manager, you will be working on site, being responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time & to budget. Projects are generally separate to usual day-to-day activities within the business and will require a group of colleagues to work together in order to achieve specific objectives. The Project Manager will oversee the project to ensure the desired results are achieved and the most efficient resources are utilised. My client manufacturer parts for the automotive industry, and supply a global client base of OEM's.The role will involve liaising with various internal departments including Simultaneous Development Team, Product Engineering Team, Product Engineering Manager, Test Engineering, Process Engineering, Purchasing, QA and Manufacturing.The main function of the role as a Product Design Engineer you will work in conjunction with customers and suppliers, and in accordance with the APQP process, design and develop our client's products through to manufacturing handover to meet stakeholder requirements.
