An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Engineer (Aerospace) to join a well-established and successful manufacturing organisation which is part of a major Group supplying specialist high pressure test systems to the oil and gas sector world-wide.  They are expanding into other business sectors including aerospace, defence, marine, power and rail.  Candidates must be enthusiastic and self-motivated sales professionals with a good knowledge of mechanical engineering including hydraulics.  Applicants should also have experience of the aerospace and defence sectors, plus a proven track record in achieving sales growth within one or more of the following sectors, Aerospace and Defence, Automotive, Marine, Rail or Power Generation.  Working closely with Engineering, the Job Holder will be expected to support the continuing development of the product range and therefore an understanding of hydraulics is essential.  Candidates should have a good engineering background, ideally with HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. A well-established and well-respected manufacturing organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced Quality Manager (Aerospace) to work at its site close to Manchester.  The company manufactures specialised Systems to customers within the aerospace and defence sectors world-wide.  The role will include leading the company towards the full accreditation of AS9100 (Rev D), including final audit and post audit activity.  The role will also be involved in wider initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement, reducing the Cost of Quality and Right First Time.  Although previous experience in Aerospace and/or Defence is desirable, Candidates will be considered with similar experience in an alternative manufacturing environment with a stringent regulatory environment.
